Book Chronicals SU Biology Department History


Biology at Syracuse University, 1872–2010, is a vivid historical portrait of the Biology Department written by professor emeritus and former department chair Dr. H. Richard Levy.  This 368-page book includes dozens of period photos, as well as profiles of many former and current department members who have shaped the SU Biology department over nearly 14 decades.
